Hello there, I'm Ashley.
My name is Ashley Neall, and I'm a Senior at UNC-Chapel Hill studying Computer Science, Neuroscience, and Applied Engineering. My research co-designs computational displays, sensing, and rendering systems for human sensation and perception. I am broadly interested in building multisensory XR systems that empower people.
You'll find me researching while leading Carolina AR/VR and Intercollegiate XR. In my free time, I develop, design, and teach :)
Fun fact: my passion for XR began in high school, where I created Apex Immersive – the first XR student organization in North Carolina's largest public school system. My leadership endeavors led me to revitalize Carolina AR/VR as a freshman in college and dive into research.
